I love love LOVE my job
Seriously. I finally get it. I’m finally doing something that doesn’t feel like work. And I am really very good at it. I know that sounds anything but humble but bear with me. It is a total light bulb moment so I’m allowed to be a little on the ‘gee-lookee-how-godlike-I-am’ bandwagon.
Everything is falling into place. God is blessing me out of my socks.
/bounce baby!
- Word of the day: burble: babble, bubble, guggle, gurgle, ripple
- Insight of the day: working clever is much more beneficial than working hard and working hard and clever is the best of all
- State of the pool: splishy splashy like it has a ridiculously cute 20 month old bathing in it. Feathered fringe notwithstanding…*
- Random thought: what is the mental version of dettol?
- Awesomest line: Cummings again.
i thank You God for most this amazing
day:for the leaping greenly spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;and for everything
which is natural which is infinite which is yes
(i who have died am alive again today,
and this is the sun’s birthday;this is the birth
day of life and of love and wings:and of the gay
great happening illimitably earth)
how should tasting touching hearing seeing
breathing any–lifted from the no
of allnothing–human merely being
doubt unimaginable You?
(now the ears of my ears awake and
now the eyes of my eyes are opened)
*I still can’t believe my mom did that. He now looks like a little girl that frequents a vindictive hairdresser with a penchant for Dr. Seuss. I now have no choice but to have his gorgeous curls cut.
