Some more anatomy

I didn’t write to you yesterday. I wish there was some heart achingly lovely reason why not but all I have to offer is that I just didn’t want to. I saw you on Sunday and knew I would see you again last night and writing to the you to whom this is addressed but is unaware of the address vs. being just one socially inappropriate moment away from touching the you that breathes and has a separate existence, leaves me unable to think straight. Much less craft something that will make you love me.

The upside of not reading you anymore is that I have kneecaps left and that is definitely helping in the whole social awkwardness aspect of it all. Although the level of /bounce attained last night was a bit much even for me. Luckily most of those people are only just getting to know me so they still think it cute. J actually poked me when I got a bit much.* And yes. You are still the loveliest thing alive.

I wish that there was some world where I could pour Bärenjäger in the hollows of your collarbones and use you for a cup. Oh well.

  1. Word of the day: Greek again – poiema. Strong’s # 4161: From the verb poieo (compare “poem” and “poetry”.) The word signifies that which is manufactured, a product, a design produced by an artisan…Before conversion our lives had no rhyme or reason. Conversion brought us balance, symmetry, and order. We are God’s poem, His work of art.**
  2. Insight of the day: I’m better when under the weather.
  3. State of the pool: Clear, reflecting the dark blue cotton candy sky.

  5. Awesomest line: I have not been reading anything which produces Awesomest lines so it is earworm time again. Imogen Heap – The Walk…again
  6. Scripture line: Was reminded again this morning when a facebook friend updated it as her status. I am seriously considering rather getting this than The Poem as my next tattoo.

Romans 5:1-5 – Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out into our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

*He is my brother and meant it in love and not the normal irritated/patronising response. I love those 2 so much.
